Sealed bids will be received for the construction of improvements planned as part of the TRAVIS OUTLAW CENTER AND ANNEX ROOF REPAIRS PROJECT - PROJECT NO. 26015. Bid containers must be sealed and marked with the project name and project number. Each bid must include a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable without condition to the City of Starkville, Mississippi, or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance properly secured. Contractors must comply with all applicable requirements of Chapters 3 and 5 of Title 31 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. The contractor's Certificate of Responsibility number or a statement indicating the bid does not exceed $50,000.00 must appear on the outside of the bid container. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days without the written consent of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, or accept any bid deemed most favorable to the City.
