Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cookeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for the Widening of Interstate Drive at the intersection with Jefferson Ave (SR 136), approximately 0.07 miles. The work includes, but is not limited to: storm sewer installation, grading, base and paving, topsoiling, seeding, and sidewalk construction. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or Bid Guarantee Bond of not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract price. All bidders must be licensed contractors qualified for the described type of construction. The sealed bid envelope must include the contractor's license number, license expiration date, and the classification relevant to the project; joint ventures must provide this information for all parties. A non-refundable $150.00 charge is required for contract documents. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any/all bids as deemed in its best interest.
