The City of Houston’s Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) is seeking applications from qualified nonprofit organizations and local government entities to lease and operate the Housing Navigation Center for a period of 3 years. The project will be supported by approximately $10,500,000.00 over a 36-month period using funding from CDBG-Disaster Recovery 24 and possibly other federal, state, and local sources. The facility is intended to provide temporary semi-private accommodations and services that bridge the gap between outreach and placement in housing or other appropriate housing facilities serving unhoused individuals.
