The contract is to provide Welding and Fabrication Equipment, Supplies, Repair, and Maintenance Services. The successful vendor(s) must supply a broad range of welding equipment, supplies, parts, and related services, including delivery to all District locations. The vendor(s) must also demonstrate the ability to provide responsive customer service and technical support for the District's welding programs. Deliveries for materials and equipment will begin July 2026, and future campuses may also require delivery and support services if new welding programs are implemented during the contract term. Other District departments, including Operations, may purchase from the awarded vendor(s) under this contract for items within the scope. Bids will be received electronically. All required documents must be submitted and accepted through OpenGov. The bid submission deadline is a hard cut-off and late bids will not be accepted. Bidders will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission. During the bid opening, the names of respondents and submitted pricing or required information will be read aloud; no evaluation or discussion will occur at that time. Questions or requests for information must be directed through the designated procurement contact. All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated following the solicitation requirements and governing regulations.
