Description

Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

The Work to be done under the Contract consists of the demolition of existing powerpacks 5 and 6 and supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of two new powerpacks and associated systems in the existing sludge dewatering building at North End Sewage Treatment Plant (NEWPCC). The major components of the Work are: supply and installation of two new hydraulic power units with accessories; disconnect and removal of existing power units 5 and 6 and associated piping, electrical, controls, etc.; supply, installation, start-up and commissioning of new power units; installation of new compressed air piping; modifications to existing electrical and control systems to integrate control of new powerpack units into the existing system; and provision of all Work noted in the specifications and drawings.
