The project consists of a two-phase interior renovation and alteration of the 3rd floor of Building E. Phase 1 includes the relocation of occupational therapy and physical therapy labs, with the addition of a new tutor space. Phase 2 includes the creation of general chemistry, biology, and physics labs, as well as faculty research labs. Both phases involve the demolition of walls, ceilings, and floors; construction of new walls, ceilings, and finishes; upgrades to the ventilation fan in the chemical storage room; and new plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC ductwork, work benches, cabinets, and laboratory equipment including fume hoods and refrigeration. Additional scope includes collateral roof work above the renovated rooms and collateral ceiling work on the second floor for new plumbing piping.
