The project consists of the complete remodel and renovation of the Men's, Women's, and Staff Restrooms (approximately 822 sq. ft.), including demolition and reconstruction of the restrooms, adjoining lockers, and storage rooms, as well as modification of the existing fire alarm system. All redesigned areas must comply with the current 2022 Edition Title 24 - California Building Code Requirements. Refer to construction documents for the complete scope of work. Instructions to bidders: - Bidders must furnish all labor and materials for the project. - Scoping documents, plans, and specifications are available electronically upon request to be added to the distribution list. - A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough is required for all interested bidders. - Bidders must comply with all provisions of the Contract General Conditions and Supplementary General Conditions. - Bidders are required to achieve three percent (3%) DVBE participation and identify the DVBEs used in their bids. A DVBE Bid Incentive is available for bid evaluation purposes. - All bidders and subcontractors must register with the Department of Industrial Relations, and maintain current registration to bid and work on public works projects. - Only contractors licensed in the State of California with a B license and properly registered may request bid proposal packages. - The overall project duration is 120 calendar days from the construction start date; liquidated damages apply for delays.
