Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project involves the design of Waldron Family Park and Boat Ramp on a 30.86-acre parcel located at 320 State Road 312, St. Augustine, Florida. The awarded Consultant is to provide a complete design for the park and boat ramp, referencing the Master Site Plan, balancing recreational use with environmental preservation, while enhancing existing and proposed facilities, and complying with applicable zoning and land development code requirements. The final scope will be determined through negotiations. The park will include waterfront amenities (boat basin, boat ramp, floating docks, public safety dock, boardwalk, kayak launch, boat trailer parking), recreational features (Bocce ball court, corn-hole game, horseshoes pit, nature trail system, scenic overlook tower), community and educational facilities (picnic pavilions, butterfly and tortoise exhibits), and supporting facilities (busk barn, operations area, restroom facilities, utilities, drives, parking areas, other amenities as identified by community involvement, and related fixtures/equipment). The Consultant must also deliver a Public Engagement Plan (PEP) inclusive of diverse communities, develop a public engagement survey, create and distribute meeting materials, conduct public meetings and focus groups, and provide a Community Engagement Summary Report. Design development includes plans and specifications for permitting and construction for all necessary disciplines, with phase submittals at 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100%. The Consultant must identify and obtain all necessary regulatory permits, develop and produce 100% construction documents, attend pre-bid conferences, answer bidder inquiries, assist with construction administration, and support project closeout including inspections, punch lists, and review/approval of as-builts and closeout documents. Monthly progress reports and participation in various meetings are also required.
