Volunteer SCC Thigpen Library RASI Suite Renovation This project is for the renovation of approximately 1,630-square-feet of existing interior space in the Thigpen Library to provide office space for the Research, Assessment, & Special Initiative (RASI) Department. The scope of work includes minor demolition, interior wall construction, finishes, and associated mechanical and electrical work. Bidders shall submit questions about bidding documents to Designer in writing. Questions shall be received by Designer at least six calendar days before bid opening date. The VSCC RASI Suite Renovation creates a dedicated administrative and collaborative space within the existing Thigpen Library on the second floor of the Volunteer State Community College Gallatin Campus. This initiative introduces a new RASI Suite--a nine-office professional suite complete with a welcoming lobby and functional workroom--to support the evolving needs of the campus community. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing library environment, the suite enhances space utilization while fostering administrative efficiency and providing flexible work areas for staff and partners. The RASI Suite is configured to support operations associated with Registered Agent Solutions, Inc. (RASI), a nationally recognized registered agent and corporate services provider that partners with Volunteer State Community College to support data management and compliance-related workflows. RASI provides services such as regulatory compliance oversight, entity management, and secure document handling, utilizing technology-driven platforms to organize and manage institutional information. While RASI functions as an external vendor rather than a direct component of the College, the suite supports collaboration with Vol State's internal RASI Data Hub, which consolidates dashboards and institutional data used for planning, reporting, and research support. Through this renovation, the RASI Suite expands the functional capabilities of the Gallatin Campus by providing a purpose-built environment for administrative, data, and research-related activities. The project reflects Volunteer State Community College's commitment to modernizing existing facilities, supporting strategic partnerships, and creating efficient, adaptable spaces that advance the College's operational and academic mission.
