The project includes work to install additional CAAMS security access and Emergency Classroom Lockdown Devices (ECLD) to all the lecture halls and/or building doors in Kane Hall, impacting 67 doors in total. Work includes installation of 17 new hardwired CAAMS card readers, 23 new wireless card readers, 11 ADA compliant auto door openers, 16 doors added to current building monitoring system/programming, and 22 new Emergency Classroom Lockdown Devices (ECLD). Additional requirements involve patching or painting as necessary, providing electrical power where needed, installing rough-in boxes, network equipment and connections, internet/wireless connectivity and programming, building penetrations/core drills as required, electrified locking door hardware, all conduit, raceways, cable trays, back boxes, sleeves, and cable pathways.
