This Contract is for improvements to the Water Conserv II WRF BNR system blowers. Specifically, the following work is included, but not limited to: furnish and install new BNR blower facilities, as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified herein, including five (5) new BNR turbo compressors (blowers),demolition and salvage or disposal of five (5) existing turbo compressors, air piping/fitting/appurtenances, and compressor motor cooling air discharge duct, as necessary to provide a complete functional and operating air system to the BNR treatment basins; restore the site to a condition that is equal to or better than the condition of the site before construction began; make modifications to the existing BNR Blower Building, including new roof, wall-mounted exhaust fan, and screening system; and electrical, controls, instrumentation, and SCADA system improvements. Awards, if made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is most advantageous to the City, price and other factors considered.
