The Craig R-III School District is seeking qualified proposals for interior renovations, electrical upgrades, HVAC maintenance, and communication/camera/security system installations across multiple campus areas. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. Pre-Bid Meetings Pre-bid meetings will be held by appointment with the district's superintendent prior to the proposal opening. Meetings will include an overview of the project scope followed by building and site tours. It is recommended that prospective primary bidders attend a pre-bid meeting. Detailed Scope of Work The successful bidder will be responsible for the following items as outlined in the 2026 Summer Scope: Restrooms & Climate Control Boys Bathroom: Replace thermostat. Baseboard Heaters: Replace baseboard heaters in boys' and girls' restrooms by front entrance. (Patch and paint flooring/walls around old vs. new footprint)Gymnasiums New Gym: Replace 20 light fixtures with LEDs. (Include masonite to drive lifts on to protect the gym floor). Demo old audio system by stage; patch and paint block. Replace recessed drinking fountains by stage. Investigate exhaust fan switches and demo if not used. Old Gym: Replace 2X4 light fixture with broken lens. Classroom Renovations Infant Toddler Room: Skim and paint walls. Provide and install 2 marker boards. Replace plugs and switches. Demo unused wiring. (Note: Excludes light and fan replacement) Science Room: Remove the power strip under the TV and add 3 new quads. Install 18' of upper cabinets to match existing base cabinets. Patch and paint walls. Provide and install 2 dry erase boards. Replace plugs and switches. Demo unused wiring. History Room: Provide and install 2 marker boards. Patch and paint walls.
