Question Deadline 05/18/2026 Each Bidder will call to the attention of the Professional any discrepancies in the Contract Documents or questions requiring clarification at least 72 hours before bid. The work shall consist of stormwater and erosion control measures on Rollingwood Drive and Glenwood Drive including but not limited to clearing and grubbing, demolition, earthwork, installing new drainage relief, the construction of new curb inlets. The work consists of stormwater and erosion control measures on Rollingwood Drive and Glenwood Drive, including but not limited to clearing and grubbing, demolition, earthwork, installing new drainage relief, and the construction of new curb inlets. All work and materials must meet the requirements of the specifications and drawings, and the contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary plant, labor, equipment, and materials. The contract period is 120 calendar days. Bidders must purchase non-refundable contract documents through the specified website and be listed as an official plan holder. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond for contracts over $25,000, and the successful bidder must provide a 100% performance and payment bond. Licensing and certifications are required as specified. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the required documentation and cannot be withdrawn for 60 days following the opening. Work must comply with the current Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction, unless specified otherwise. Bids will only be accepted from those to whom contract documents have been issued by the Engineer. Non-resident bidders must include their home state's contractor law with their bid. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, Build America Buy America Act, and American Iron and Steel Requirements is required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, negotiate with the lowest and best bidder, and make awards as permitted by law.
