The work involves: Approximately 1.8 miles reconstruction and/or resurfacing of roadways relating thereto. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary. The contract will be awarded for a one-year period with two one-year options to renew at the Town's discretion. All work must abide by all rules and provisions set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the Town of Auburn. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as 'PAVEMENT - SURFACING' will be required. Bidders must demonstrate that all employees on the worksite have successfully completed the OSHA 10-hour training course. The MBE/WBE requirement and the minimum minority employee percentage for this project are both 5%.
