Question Deadline 04/28/2026 at 5:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to owner in writing on the conflict resolution form included in the bid documents. Sealed bids are requested for the repair and replacement of a portion of sewer main line along Wildewood Avenue (1853 Marion Street) near the intersection of Marion Street in Georgetown, South Carolina. Work includes replacement of a short section of mainline piping--currently 8" VCP or Plastic Truss Pipe--to be replaced with PVC DR35. Pricing must include unit pricing for all labor, equipment, and materials for proper installation in compliance with Georgetown County Water and Sewer District (GCWSD), South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES), and South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) requirements and regulations. The District will provide the SCDOT Encroachment Permit via a blanket permit for repairs. The contractor must certify compliance with the S.C. Illegal Immigration Reform Act and maintain required minimum insurance policies. No bid, performance, or payment bonds are required for this project. Bids must be submitted by the deadline and conform to all instructions provided, and the District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
