The purpose is to receive submissions from a suitably qualified company to provide and install new MaxFlor+ rubber flooring system in the Goodyear rink within the Best and Bash Arena located at 16 McPherson Drive, Napanee, Ontario. The successful company will, in collaboration with Town Staff: - Remove and dispose of existing rubber flooring - Prepare concrete slab prior to new floor installation, including filling minor cracks, divots, and control joints to a depth of 1/4" deep - Supply and install 10mm MaxFlor+, 1m by 1m rubber flooring tiles specifically designed for high-traffic and demanding indoor spaces, such as arenas, with the predominant colour being Royal Blue and some Charcoal inlay for esthetics - Area of application includes the Goodyear Rink apron and two dressing rooms (1 & 2) - Price shall include freight, materials, and garbage bin - Attend a mandatory site meeting before bid submission closing date - The total application area is approximately 2,650 sqft (to be confirmed at site meeting) The successful company shall: - Have experience with installation of MaxFlor+ rubber flooring in sports arenas - Have the ability to provide detailed cost estimating - Be responsible for their own Health and Safety as well as their employees and the general public while working under contract - Keep a responsible person/foreman on site when undertaking the work.
