Site work and paving for a civil project in Caledon East, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a road / highway.
Scope of work shall include but not limited to the following: traffic control, detours, signage, and barricades; maintaining a single lane of traffic at all times for limited through traffic and emergency services; daylighting of subsurface utilities (Bell, Regional Watermain); full-depth removal of existing pavement structure to a depth of 250 mm; excavation of road shoulders for replacement with Granular 'B' Type II, Granular 'A' and paved shoulders; ditching regrading; removal and installation of new driveway culverts and restoration of driveways; removal and installation of two crossing culverts; padding, grading, and compacting Granular 'A' base layer as required; supply and placement of new concrete curb & gutter in the semi-urban section with outlets to ditch; supply and installation of new subdrain for road platform with outlets to ditch; supply and installation of new guiderail and end treatments; supply, placement, and compaction of new base and surface asphalt; pavement markings (stop bars); restoration of disturbed area, including placement of topsoil and sod as necessary.
