General work description: Repair/Replacement of Signal and Lighting Systems. This project will install video detection, retroreflective backplates, replace cabinets, pedestrian pushbuttons, and pedestrian signal heads with current standard cabinets, accessible pedestrian signals (APS) and LED count down signal heads. This project will not be trenching. All work will be done on existing California Department of Transportation's Right of Way. The Department of Transportation (Department) will receive quotes for Construction On State Highway In Fresno County At Various Locations. District-County-Route-Post Mile: 06-Fre-43,99,201-Var Prime Contractor must have an applicable Class C license. Prime Contractor must be a certified Small Business under Section 2-1.05. Department establishes no DVBE Contract goal but encourages bidders to obtain DVBE participation. Bids must be on a unit price basis. Questions about alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications, or estimate must be asked before bid opening. After bid opening, the Department does not consider these questions as bid protests
