Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
General Contractors are invited to submit a sealed lump sum bid proposal for Valley Falls Heritage Park Phase I Construction in accordance with the requirements of the Bidding Documents dated April 9th, 2026 and the following instructions. The Awarding Authority will receive bids until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, at the Office of the Mayor, Cumberland Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Cumberland RI, 02864. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Town Council Chambers after the specified bid closing time. Bid proposal is to be submitted in duplicate on the attached Bid Form in a sealed envelope addressed to Sarah King clearly marked with the project name. Refer to "Instructions to Bidders" of the Bid Documents for additional bidding requirements. The Owner will hold a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at the site on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. All questions during the bidding process must be submitted in writing by e-mail. Deadline for submitting questions is Wednesday, April 22, 2026 by noon. All responses will be addressed via Addendum. Questions must be sent to Sarah King at sking@cumberlandri.gov Award is subject to final approval.
