Site work for a water / sewer project in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace all existing carbon steel piping components within PPW Vaults 101B, 103, and 105 with stainless steel piping components. The work includes removal and replacement of all existing valves with new stainless steel full-port ball valves and installation of insulation on all piping within the vaults. Construction activities include all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the piping replacement and insulation work in accordance with applicable standards and site conditions. Vault 105 may be accessed for a walkthrough prior to award, while Vaults 101B and 103 will be accessed after award due to decommissioning requirements. Questions shall be submitted via emailed to david.hildebrand@usda.gov and are due no later than April 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM Central time. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends. Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email.
