Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Work will consist of furnishing all services, labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work as per plans and specifications set forth by the Tuscarawas County Engineer. Specifically, the project consists of complete bridge replacement and realignment of deficient structure over the Tuscarawas River. Project includes pavement, guardrail, drainage, sidewalk, construction of a cul-de-sac and connector roads, signing and striping. Project also includes addition of right-turn lane, widening and resurfacing along U.S. Route 36. Bidders must be currently pre-qualified with and in good standing with ODOT. The bidder must possess work types and perform work equal to at least 30% of the total amount of the submitted bid price. The Tuscarawas County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Award is subject to final approval.
