A small portion of this area shall remain asphalt and be repaved to provide pedestrian access to the nearby exterior doors of the building. The final area of work to be included in the phase 1 reconstruction is the portion adjacent to the pre-kindergarten play area. This shall be repaved with new asphalt, striped for a half basketball court and will include a variable height basketball net and backboard on a pole.
