Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Schofield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of the replacement of asphalt pavement, base course material, curb and gutter, and sidewalk along Kort Street between the West Termini and West Grand Ave. It also includes replacement of the existing water main with new 10-inch and 8-inch ductile iron water main, and associated valves, hydrants, and services; replacement of the existing gravity sanitary sewer and pressure sanitary force main; and dewatering for utility installations. Prospective bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder. All official notifications, addenda, and other bidding documents will be offered only through the designated website. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available. An optional paper set is available for a non-refundable fee, with an additional fee for mailing. Bids will only be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service, QuestCDN.com. Bidders must submit a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility Qualifications Statement by the specified date. Each bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders along with required supplemental forms. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, and to award the contract(s) in the best interests of the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid opening. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents. The work is subject to the applicable sections of the Wisconsin Statutes. Question Deadline 05/05/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
