Architectural/Engineering services are sought for renovations at UCSF Health Hyde Hospital to support Behavioral Health Services safety improvements and the development of a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center. The work covers multiple floors in an occupied General Acute Care Hospital and includes interior architectural and infrastructure renovations to patient care areas, staff support spaces, and associated clinical functions. The scope focuses on enhancing patient and staff safety, improving workflow, and aligning facilities with behavioral health design standards and regulatory requirements. Anticipated tasks include renovation of full or partial floors, reconfiguration of patient rooms, upgrades to toilet and bathing facilities, replacement of doors, hardware, and fixtures with ligature-resistant components, and modifications to support spaces such as nurse stations, consultation rooms, and therapy areas, along with upgrades to MEP and fire life safety infrastructure.
