Renovation of a recreation facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Design plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
The Minnesota State Fair and the University of Minnesota Extension have launched a $35 million capital campaign to renovate the historic 4-H Building on the State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. The project includes major exterior and interior renovations across the building's three floors, upgraded infrastructure, new learning and program spaces, cafeteria and dormitory improvements, and long-term maintenance investments. Exterior work is underway in 2026, with interior construction beginning after the 2026 State Fair and substantial completion anticipated in 2027.
