Site work for a water / sewer project in Lantz, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades of the sludge management infrastructure in Lantz Lagoon. The scope of work provides for civil engineering work including dredging and desludging the municipal wastewater lagoon to remove sludge that builds up over time during normal operations. The purpose of this work is to maintain lagoon capacity, improve treatment performance, reduce risk of odors, and extend the overall lifespan of the facility. TIMLEINE: The project is preliminary and is included in the City's 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Scope of work, final budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized.
