Dinwiddie County seeks quotes from qualified vendors to rework the donation bricks that are currently creating unsafe conditions for pedestrians at the Dinwiddie Sports Complex. The work includes removal of four 8'L x 8'W x 1'H decorative brick squares that include 125 labeled donation bricks on the top layer, and reinstalling the donation bricks in a new design level with the surrounding concrete. Care must be taken to ensure there is no damage to the donation bricks or the existing concrete during removal and reinstallation. The new design resembles a softball field, with home plate, bases, and pitcher's mound made of white limestone, and the labeled donation bricks laid as if running the bases. A sketch of the new design is referenced as Exhibit B. If any Vendor has questions about any specifications or other solicitation documents, the Vendor should contact the person issuing the RFQ whose name appears on the face of the solicitation no later than three working days before the due date.
