The contractor shall provide water testing services for the Sterile Processing Service at Manchester VA Medical Center. The contractor is responsible for supplying all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect water samples from designated sampling points within the facility's Sterile Processing Service. Sampling parameters and frequency must adhere to AAMI ST 108-2023 requirements, covering sample points such as post filter osmosis, critical water sink, washer/disinfector, Medivator units, steam, utility water sink, Hobart dishwasher, ultrasonic, and re-looped filter osmosis. The contractor must perform monthly or quarterly testing as specified, and provide retesting within 48 hours when water failures occur. Sample analysis shall be performed by an accredited laboratory, and results must be delivered to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and SPS administration within 7 business days. The contractor must provide a standardized testing process for government review prior to starting work, ensure all employees comply with background checks and security requirements, and follow OSHA, EPA, and VA physical and information security policies. Contractor staff collecting samples must be trained per SM 9060. All applicable regulations, infection control procedures, and PPE use must be observed. Vendor technicians must report to Facility Service in Building 6 for sign-in and badging before performing work on site. Contractor vehicles are to be parked in Lot E. The contractor is required to promptly respond to inquiries and coordinate all testing activities to avoid impacting SPS operations.
