Renovation of a transportation facility in Christiansted, Virgin Islands. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Rotating Beacon Replacement at Henry E. Rohlsen Airport St. Croix The Virgin Islands Port Authority invites all licensed and qualified general construction contractors to participate in an invitation to bid for the installation of a new rotating beacon with a 45’ tip-down pole and housekeeping concrete pad, and the removal of the existing beacon, beacon tower, and concrete pad at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The project also includes the provision and installation of an emergency generator to provide power supply to the new beacon, improvements to the surrounding gravel pad and gravel access road, and replacement of the perimeter fence and vehicle gate. Electronic bids for furnishing all labor, material, services, and equipment for constructing the beacon will be received through the Virgin Islands Port Authority's eProcurement site. All bids will be reviewed in accordance with Procurement Policies and Procedures, Section IV Competitive Bidding. The Virgin Islands Port Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any and all bids, or to re-advertise for bids. Question Deadline 05/12/2026 at 4:00 PM AT Questions about the Specifications shall be submitted in writing to the Virgin Island Port Authority (VIPA), Engineering Department, St. Croix, USVI.
