Demolition and replacement of the existing quarry tile system throughout the kitchen and dishwashing areas with a new resinous flooring system, including approximately 4,984 square feet of flooring and 800 linear feet of cove base. Work includes repairing walls as needed to accommodate the new cove base installation and conducting asbestos testing prior to project commencement, as no asbestos history is currently identified. The project will be coordinated for completion during an exodus period to minimize operational downtime. All work shall comply with environmental protection requirements specified in Division 01, including submission of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous materials, reporting construction and debris (C&D) metrics, and providing waste diversion reports. Work must adhere to applicable industry standards outlined in project specifications, including Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria, building codes, plumbing codes, and testing and laboratory standards.
