Renovation of a transportation facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Upgrade of Building 1064 to improve administrative and operational functionality, including repair of administration and shop area finishes through patching and painting, replacement of ceiling tiles and floor finishes, and selective interior alterations to improve operations. The work includes replacement of the existing roofing system with a 30-year PVC roof; repair of the HVAC system to meet new functional requirements; repair of interior and exterior electrical systems to current safety standards; replacement of existing lighting with energy-efficient lighting and controls; repair of restrooms including new surfaces and water-efficient fixtures; repair of doors and door seals; replacement of overhead doors with insulated sectional and roll-up doors; and repair of the fire suppression system. Exterior improvements include full-depth reconstruction of the parking lot and driveway, reconstruction of drainage drop inlets and water pathways to improve drainage, removal of irrigation and grass areas, and installation of xeriscape landscaping throughout.
