The work consists of renovating approximately 10,200 square feet of the Catheterization Laboratory located on the second floor of the East Wing within an active Veterans hospital. The project includes major remodeling to relocate three radiology rooms, two ultrasound rooms, a patient restroom, a central staff work area, a communications closet, and an electrical room, as well as construction of a new ultrasound room. The scope includes relocation of existing ultrasound and fluoroscopy equipment into the renovated imaging suite. Complete architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs are provided for both new and renovated areas. Construction activities include, but are not limited to, demolition and installation of walls, floors, and ceilings; new finishes; lighting; power distribution; HVAC systems; plumbing; and associated utilities. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, project management, administrative support, and specialized expertise necessary to perform the work are required. The work will be performed in an active healthcare environment, requiring careful coordination to maintain hospital operations. The period of performance is 330 consecutive calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
