Sealed bids are sought for Pollock Mountain Road Repairs and Pete Hendricks Road Repairs under separate contract numbers. The scope of work includes embankment and roadway repairs, with extensive embankment stabilization needed at both sites. Work involves considerable excavation, installation of geotextile fabric, ROB gravel, riprap, turf reinforcing mat, and a section of paved roadway replacement. Contractors must retain a qualified surveyor to verify that slopes are established per design documents. Bidders must provide Labor and Material and Performance Bonds (each at 100% of contract price) and a Certificate of Insurance. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond and a full bond package will not be considered credible. State wage rates apply. The Town encourages participation from Minority and Women's Business Enterprises and Small Business Enterprises. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery of their proposals. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities in the bidding.
