Proposals are requested from qualified, licensed general contractors for the construction of the Cocoa REVAMP project at 308 N. Fiske Blvd, Cocoa, FL. This is a full facility sustainment project addressing maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle replacement for buildings, building equipment and systems, utilities, and components of the 16,250 square foot Readiness Center and supporting assets. The project includes sustainment maintenance and repair of items at or nearing the end of their useful life, including complete replacement as necessary. Work may include general maintenance and repair of exterior and interior buildings and structures, painting, flooring replacement, ceiling tile replacement, repair/replacement of latrines, showers, fixtures, lockers, electrical, water, HVAC, fire alarm, and communications systems, as well as windows, fencing, lighting, ATFP measures, drainage/grading, and signage. Building must meet all applicable codes and permitting requirements. Bidders must submit all required qualification documents and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Bids must be submitted in sealed packages as specified, on the required forms, and in full accordance with the drawings, specifications, and bidding conditions. Contractors must familiarize themselves with site conditions and are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Electronic submissions are not accepted; bids received after the deadline or at incorrect locations will not be considered. All subcontractor participation and compliance with non-procurement debarment, suspension, public entity crime, and drug-free workplace requirements are required.
