Requested by the Facilities and Maintenance Department. _____________________________________________________________ The Replacement of the Roof at the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County - Roofing The project is for the replacement of the roof at the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County using like/kind materials. The work must be completed within forty-five working days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, license number, address, and project name on the outside. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check in the amount of at least five percent of the bid price (not exceeding $10,000) is required. Bids must remain irrevocable for 60 days after submission. All bidders must comply with State Law Governing General Contractors and provide evidence of appropriate licensing. Nonresident bidders must include a written legal opinion regarding contractor preference from their state of domicile. The contractor must also provide one Owner's Protective Liability Policy.
