The lowest bid will be determined on the amount of the base bid. This contract is subject to prequalification. The contractor must pay prevailing wage rates as specified by the Director of Industrial Relations of the State of California. Compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations is required for public works projects. For projects over $25,000, contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5, and public works contractor registration numbers must be provided for subcontractors performing more than 0.5% of the total bid. The contract time is 120 calendar days, including 54 days for the slurry seal portion of the work, with liquidated damages for delay.
