The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving proposals for professional services for the Intersection - Cassady Avenue and Airport Drive project. The project consists of installing turn lanes in the southbound and westbound directions at the intersection of Cassady Avenue at Airport Drive. The intersection of Cassady Avenue at Austin Manor Boulevard/Plaza Properties Boulevard will be converted from signal controlled to a single lane roundabout. A shared use path will be constructed on the west side of Cassady Avenue from Demonye Road to Austin Manor Boulevard/Plaza Properties Boulevard. Improvements also include sidewalk on the east side of Cassady Avenue as needed, lighting improvements, pavement resurfacing, and access management. Proposals must be submitted electronically via Bonfire. All proposal documents will be available for review and download on Bonfire after the RFP is advertised. Firms must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the RFP for a proposal to be considered for contract award. Vendors must register on the Vendor Services portal before doing business with the City of Columbus and becoming Minority or Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) certified.
