The heavily trafficked intersection provides access to the Lowell Community Charter Public School, the Lowell Community Health Center and the city’s 900-space Edward J. Early Jr. Parking Facility. The proposed construction is one of several roadway and intersection projects set to launch in the city this year, including a $2 million design and safety project in front of City Hall. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The City of Lowell is seeking a qualified contracting company for construction of a raised crosswalk and associated sidewalk improvements at Jackson Street at Marston Street.
