Site work for a mixed-use development in Belchertown, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and bridge / tunnel.
Rehabilitation of Pedestrian Trestle over Jabish Brook. Goal of this project is the rehabilitation of the existing 61 long, five-span timber former railroad trestle for continued use as a pedestrian and snowmobile bridge. Scope includes the demolition and replacement of the timber deck and curbs, minor timber substructure repairs, and the installation of a chain link fence as a bridge rail. The trestle is in a remote setting and materials will have to be delivered to the site. Work should be completed before this winter season, and the bridge will be closed for the duration of construction. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
