This project consists of approximately 660 linear feet of segmental block retaining wall being installed along an eroded sloped embankment parallel to the westernmost parking lot at Toyota Field. There will be 130 linear feet of 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe and three new open throat inlets installed. The top side of the wall will be regraded to stabilize and reestablish the slope, and a 5-foot wide concrete flume will be installed to direct storm water to the newly installed inlets on either end of the wall. There is a very small amount of asphalt work with the new storm installation. The total disturbed area is expected to be less than one acre and will be sodded. The project completion timeframe is 90 calendar days from the issuance of a notice to proceed. All work is to be performed per the general and technical specifications and plans. Only properly licensed general contractors per Alabama law may submit a bid. No pre-qualification is required for this project.
