Provide material, equipment, and labor for preparation and painting of the exterior tennis court and associated light poles at the River Birch Tennis Center. Work must comply with all OSHA safety guidelines. Contractor is responsible for all needed paperwork to obtain required permits, which must be posted prior to work commencement. Bidders shall submit a bid to Mike Watson, Project Coordinator, on or before the hour and day stated. The preferred method of delivery is by email to mwatson@greenvillenc.gov, but bids may also be mailed or hand delivered to the Jaycee Park Administrative office. All mailed or hand delivered bids must be received prior to the submittal deadline and labeled as specified. Bids will not be read aloud but will be evaluated, and a tabulation sheet will be available upon request after the contract is awarded. Bidders must include all required responses and information as indicated on the provided Bid Form. Prices inserted shall be net and be the full cost including all factors. Any bids not submitted on the provided forms will be considered unresponsive. No bid may be changed or withdrawn after the opening time. Modifications or withdrawals before this time must be in writing to Mike Watson. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities, and to accept the bid or portion thereof deemed most advantageous. Any bid submitted will be binding for 60 days after opening. Written notice of award and/or receipt of purchase order will constitute agreement by the City to consummate the transaction, and this together with the proposal, scope of work, and instructions will serve as the entire contract form unless formal contracts are warranted.
