Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Germantown, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project includes milling and removal of existing asphalt pavement, removal and replacement of sections of curb and gutter, removal and replacement of inlet and catch basin storm structures, and replacement of two lifts of asphalt pavement. Major work items are approximately 7,360 tons of asphalt pavements, 26,170 SY of milling, 1,681 LF of concrete curb, 80 LF of replacement reinforced concrete pipe, and 225 LF of HDPE pipe. Project elements may also include, but are not limited to, pavement removal and replacement, pavement and base course removal and replacement, excavation below subgrade, sanitary, water, storm utilities repair and surface elevation adjustments, landscaping, erosion control, striping, painting, mobilizations, de-mobilizations, traffic control, and other miscellaneous related items. ONLY electronic bids will be accepted and must be submitted on . No paper plan sets will be provided; all contract documents must be obtained from www.questcdn.com for a non-refundable fee. Bidding and contracting must conform to relevant Wisconsin State Statutes. Bidders must ensure a "Bidder's Qualification Statement" is on file with the Village Department of Public Works at least five days prior to bid opening, submit a schedule at the pre-construction meeting, and include a five percent bid security with the bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish performance and payment bonds each at one hundred percent of the contract price.
