Sealed bids are being solicited for the 2025 Streets & Drainage Improvements. Contractors may submit bids either electronically through a secure interactive system or by paper submission. Specifications, plans, and contract documents are available from the purchasing office for an optional fee. Bids must be on the official bid form and include a bid surety of at least five percent of the bid amount. A performance/payment bond for 100% of the contract price and a two-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price are required for successful bidders. Contractors bidding $50,000 or more must be licensed as required by Louisiana statutes and display their license number on the bid and envelope. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. There are mandatory requirements including a pre-bid meeting and proper documentation submission.
