For SS921 Cold Mix Material and #404 Hot Mix Material as per Ohio Department of Transportation specifications. The materials are to be picked up at the suppliers location in County trucks or trucks County has designated. The bids are to be in standard form on file in the offices of the County Engineer and County Commissioners. from any supplier if the opinion of the County Engineer is that the plant facilities are either inadequate or unfavorably located. Also, the right is reserved by the Pike County Engineer to inspect plant facilities, test materials supplied for compliance with the Ohio Department of Transportation specifications, and to consider the relative location of each plant with respect prompt delivery of material to various locations within Pike County, Ohio. In addition, the selected supplier shall furnish the SS921and #404 materials to any Pike County Board of Township Trustees and the Pee Pee Township/Village of Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery at the same unit price bid to Pike County. Purchases by townships or the Pee Pee Township/Village of Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery from the selected supplier will be at the townships or Pee Pee Township/Village of Waverly Evergreen Union Cemeterys option and on an as needed basis. Purchases made by townships or Pee Pee Township/Village of Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery shall be invoiced directlyby the selected supplier to the township making the purchase or the Pee Pee Township/Village of Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, or cash in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject the bid from any supplier if the opinion of the County Engineer is that the plant facilities are either inadequate or unfavorably located.
