Replace the existing furnace and condenser with new units at Agate Fossil Beds National Monument. The work includes removal of the existing equipment and furnishing and installing a new furnace and condenser system to restore proper heating and cooling functionality. All work shall be completed in accordance with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and contract specifications. The period of performance is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Location: Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, 301 River Road, Harrison, NE 69346. DESCRIPTION OF WORK 1.1 Background: Building 347 was constructed in January of 1994 for use as park staff housing. It features the same floor plan as three other buildings used in the housing portfolio in the park. The goal of this project is to is to replace the HVAC system. The mechanical room in the house contains the water heater, fire suppression piping, and HVAC. This room has a 3 0 (36) fire rated hollow steel frame door. The room is approximately 60 inches by 34 inches, measuring from drywall to drywall. Refer to house drawing and site pictures and submit equipment sizing to CO and COR before ordering equipment to ensure fitment.
