Reference Number 00005011119 The City is seeking proposals from qualified multidisciplinary teams to support a feasibility assessment and potential subsequent planning, design, and construction support for an urban wetland restoration project at Hawkcliff Park in the Hawkwood community of northwest Calgary. The project will evaluate the feasibility of restoring a former wetland to a similar historical classification and size, while also exploring opportunities to expand wetland area, enhance ecological function, and integrate the restored system within an active urban park. The work will consider hydrology and stormwater integration, regulatory requirements, constructability, integration with surrounding infrastructure and public spaces, public access, and long term performance, maintenance, and stewardship within an urban context. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
