The Work consists of: EWK/PS-33 Roof Replacement: The work includes the removal of the existing Asphalt Shingle roof down to existing roof deck, installing new wood decking over existing decking, and installing a new Asphalt Shingle Roof System. Removal of the Existing Flat roof system down to decking, installing new 2 Ply Modified Bituminous Roof system over insulation as specified and detailed. All associated flashings, underlayment's, and ice and water shield are included. Additionally, all metal flashings, gravel stops, copings, metal wall panels and roof accessories are included in the work. Some wood cornice work and gutter repair are called for. The flat roof areas total approximately 10,000SF. The shingle roof is approximately 8,700SF. Lightning protection is also required and specified. Contractor is to retain sub-contractor who is certified in lightning protection and perform assessment, design, and provide a complete certified system. The Work will be awarded to and constructed under a single overall prime contract.
