Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jersey City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The NJEDA / NJDEP along with AECOM Tishman are in search of qualified contractors for the Historic Train Shed Restoration at Liberty State Park. Contractors must have a minimum experience of five projects of similar size, with a minimum project value of at least $25,000 for previous experience. This project will be subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). There are diversity requirements, and bidders must be able to meet SBE (25%), MWVBE (15%), and DVOB (3%) participation goals. Local workforce and companies based in Jersey City are encouraged to participate.
