Description

Remodeling of an educational facility in Monroe, Iowa. Working plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Prairie City Monroe Community Schools intends to enter a guaranteed maximum price contract for pre-construction services and the potential construction and remodeling of their school facilities at two specified locations. Pre-construction services are to begin immediately upon award to assist with current design and planning. The construction timeline and budgeting will be included as part of the pre-construction services. There will be a request for statements of qualifications for construction manager at risk (CMaR) services utilizing a two-step solicitation process. The selection will be based on projects of similar size and scope, firm experience and qualifications, OSHA safety recordables, proposed personnel experience and qualifications, project approach, company proximity, and company differentiator. At the proposal stage, qualified respondents will submit proposed fees and the selection will be based on best value according to the published criteria and ranking evaluation.
