Remodeling of a municipal facility in Corsicana, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of an office development.
This project consists of flooring work at a Texas Department of Public Safety facility. Demolition and Floor Preparation: Remove all glue down carpet from concrete slab floor. Remove cove base trim from all walls throughout space. Move and relocate all furniture to designated areas to clear the work space. Scrape and remove all adhesive residue from concrete slab using appropriate tools and methods. Clean entire floor surface thoroughly to remove all dust, debris, and contaminants. Inspect Concrete slab for any damage, cracks, or uneven areas and report findings. Ensure floor surface is smooth and properly prepared for LVT installation. LVT Floor Installation: Install 20 mil LVT Flooring with 5 feet by 7 inch plank dimensions across area. Layout and plan flooring pattern to minimize waste and ensure proper alignment. Apply appropriate adhesive or use click-lock installation method as specified. Install all LVT planks ensuring tight seams and proper alignment throughout. Install rubber transitions at all doorways, thresholds, and areas where flooring meets other surfaces. Trim and fit flooring around all obstacles, door, frames, and wall perimeters. Ensure finished floor is level, secure and meets all quality standards. Install new carpet tiles in sgt office and closet
